Mural Painting - We begin with your vision. You can send me a description of your idea with any inspiration images. I will review all the details and work out a rough estimate and timeline of the project and send for approval. A deposit is required at the onset. From here I will mock up the mural and send to you for review and/or approval. After the concept is approved, we will schedule dates to begin the project.
Each pet in this mural belongs to the vets and owner of the clinic. They send me several photos of their pets and from their I mock up the layout via photoshop and send for approval. A few tweaks and animal additions are requested and made. Once all members were satisfied, we booked the dates and I start the project!
The projector would not work in the bathroom, so this large mural was done 100% free hand.
Client provided the vision for this mural at the onset of the project and wanted to use my cat, Kiki as the model.
I use a projector where possible to place the animals. In this project the counter prevented me from utilizing the projector on the bottom half of the wall. I used what I could and free handed the rest.
I worked this mural in stages, setting the background first, then filling in the animals in and a final pass with fine details.
Each animal was photographed at the halfway point and set next to it's photo so I could ensure the proportions were correct. Accuracy to a clients pet is crucial.

Client wanted a Western theme painting for his office and provided a magazine image with the overall scene he wanted. He sent me a picture of his Palomino horse and we combined them to create his vision!
Water Color Illustration
One of 4 mixed media panel displays used at Magic Sourcing show in Las Vegas to draw the attention of prospective buyers. They incorporate fabric swatches and appliques stitched on by hand. Embroidery floss utilizing different stitch techniques are spotted throughout the piece.
I use quality fabric paints that have good coverage and a light hand to keep the integrity of the fabric versus some hand painting jobs that leave your fabric super stiff.
I'm fluent in Illustrator with lots of experience in photoshop. I work between these two programs to create unique digital fashion illustrations. I also do technical sketches for, Fashion CAD, and Graphic work.
These digital fashion illustrations are hand drawn, scanned and then digitally manipulated in photoshop.
Technical CAD work - If you need to convey technical aspects of a fashion, interior or accessory item, technical sketches get the key aspects across to both buyers and factories alike.
This is production prepared artwork, sized with colors called prepped and ready to send to the printer.
Graphic design and CAD work. I work with the client on multiple color iterations and placements until the product is where they want it.
Final design with art placement for printer to follow for production.
Technical CAD work - If you need to convey technical aspects of a fashion, interior or accessory item, technical sketches get the key aspects across to both buyers and factories alike.
Graphic Design - This is the first food truck ever designed! I'm proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop, so I took on the project. The client sent me his ideas and overall color scheme and we worked from there.
Natural Beauty - I designed this dress for international competition called the World of Wearable Art in New Zealand. It did not get selected, but it did make the news and walk down the runway for a Tony and Guy Fashion show.
I designed, sewed, painted and embellished this gown. It is adorned in sculpted silk leaves, silk wrapped wire vines, organza butterflies, thousands of hand sewn sequins and hundreds of Swarovski crystals. This is one of my greatest designs.
I made this mask using Swarovski crystals and leather that I hand painted.
This Leopard is made of fabric that I quilted to add depth. Then I hand sewed sequins for his spots.
Custom costume made for high school competition.
18th century men's costume designed for a highschool theater competition.
This commission was for a high school theater competition. The costume reflects the loss of innocence. The dress is sewn with a network of magnets in the linings that allow the costume to be strategically pulled apart revealing bursts of color as the story unfolds and the characters eyes are opened.
Hand painted elements mixed with rhinestones.
Fashion Design and Dressmaking - I love an exciting fashion project. I don't do many sewing projects any more, but can always be enticed by an exciting opportunity.
